So here it goes, I’m finally taking the plunge and giving blogging a go after umming and ahhing about it for the last year and a half.
My name is Hannah and I live in a lovely little village on the outskirts of Worcester with my Dad, sister and fur baby, the most photogenic dog ever (pictures to follow) whilst I save for my very own home. Three years were spent living with three amazing friends in Cheltenham while I’ll completed my degree in Early Childhood studies. Without a doubt, some of the best years of my life.
After my friend Gemma (@LoveGemsy) started her blog in 2014, it sort of introduced me to the world of blogging that I’d never really considered before, but I now find myself totally engrossed in people’s blog posts. When I found myself mentally writing blog entries at three in the morning I knew it was time to give it a whirl.
This has always been a bit of a dream for me but after attending an ‘instameet’ in November last year hosted by the lovely Lauren (@HuntersandHeels), I felt so inspired by the lovely women I met there. So why the hell not? What have I got to lose? NADA!
I aim to cover subjects that I am particularly passionate about. This being, Interiors, fashion and lifestyle. I will also touch on mental health and grief as this is something I have experienced first-hand and, with it being quite a taboo subject, I think it important to share my story in the hope that it will help/reassure other people that have sadly been in my position. That being said it is so important to me that my blog is a positive environment, so I won’t be going into too much depth, I just know that when I was going through tougher times it was so reassuring knowing that I wasn’t alone!
Moving on to another love of mine…FOOD! In the last couple of years, I have grown to love cooking from scratch, thanks to the help of Jamie Oliver so you will find some quick wins for those with a busy lifestyle.
So, for now, slide into your comfiest clothes, put the kettle on and enjoy!
